Legalisation Requirements

APOSTILLE

Many countries have ratified the Hague Convention of 5th October 1961 on the legalisation of documents. Documents for use in such a country require only to be legalised by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office by means of an Apostille in the internationally agreed format. Documents in this category do not subsequently have to be legalised by the Consulate of the intended country of use.

Currently, we offer a two-tier service for obtaining an Apostille:

1) PREMIUM SERVICE - obtained from the Legalisation Office in Central London.

This service is for registered users only and is not available to the general public. Documents which are ready to be lodged by 3.00 p.m. on any working day will be legalised by Apostille on the same day. The cost for each Apostille issued by the Central London Office is £69.

2) STANDARD SERVICE - obtained from the Legalisation Office in Milton Keynes.

We can arrange legalisation by Apostille through the Milton Keynes Office within 4-6 working days. The cost for each Apostille issued by the Milton Keynes Office is £28.
